Professional Liability Insurance & Fingerprinting Support Grant

California Poets in the Schools is offering grants of up to $250 per year to assist active Poet-Teachers with professional liability insurance and/or fingerprint costs required by school districts.   

We do not guarantee that each applicant will receive funding.  We will prioritize those who are being asked to show proof of professional liability insurance and/or fingerprints in order to work in a school, and those who face financial obstacles to purchasing their own professional liability insurance. 

Only active Poet-Teachers are eligible to receive this funding.  Please ensure that you have completed the latest recertification form required of all active Poet-Teachers.
